Forest Free-Range Pork

Unfortunately, factory farmed pigs don't get to have a fun and free life, but here at Fiorbhia Farm our pigs pasture our forest and have the opportunity to dig, roll and have as much fun as they can in clean environments with lots of fresh air.


They get to enjoy a natural diet and have a longer life than other pigs.


Our pork products are free from chemicals, nitrates and water solution which create naturally lean, juicy & tender delicious cuts of meat.


Pork raised this way has been proven to have higher levels of Omega 3 fats, antioxidants and other micro-nutirents. This is due to the healthy and diverse diet of our pigs.


Straight away our pigs farrow free in the forest. The piglets bond naturally with their mother and nurse on her nutrient rich and protective milk until they have the natural immunity need to survive - usually up to 3 months. In a concentrated animal feeding system (factory farm) they are given 24 days in a farrowing crate and then separated from mom.


In the wild, pigs eat pretty much anything they can get their snouts into: roots, grass, leaves, grubs, nuts, berries and fruit, and insects. Our pigs eat much the same with our regenerative practices we mimic their activity in the wild and allow the forest to recover after impaction. We supplement their diet with high-quality excess crops, milk, and fermented grains from local farmers.
